A renowned professional with over 2 decades of experience – over a decade at senior leadership positions. A doctor by qualification, Dr. Asad went on to do his Master’s in Pharmaceutical Management from the Institute of Business Management (IoBM), Karachi. Through the illustrious 17 years in the industry, Dr. Asad has had the success at national and multinational companies and brands to his credit. He started his career with Knoll, a well-known German company later acquired by Abbott. Later he joined PharmEvo when the company was in her infancy, and nourished the company with product pipelines, marketing directions, strategies and structures. He was instrumental in painting the image of PharmEvo as a company associated with Science, Research and Ethical Practices. To his credit, brands like X-plended & Lowplat are blockbusters to date. Dr. Asad went on to join Martin Down after the acquisition of Roche and he turned around the sliding portfolios. He re-launched the previously struggling cardio-metabolic and ortho portfolios and established their known market worth. After joining OBS Pakistan, he turned around the MSD Cardio-metabolic Business, and the success of Janumet falls largely to his credit. He is known in the industry for business introductions, turning around portfolios, symbolic innovative-ethical and scientific marketing practices; and he is known to his peers as a man of discipline, professionalism and aggression. Dr. Asad is now geared to better the landscape of healthcare and wellness through introducing consumer-centric products through Johnson Victor.
